With Amador County's gold rush past, there is a wealth of photographic imagery documenting its rich history.
Under our prior business name "Out of the Woods Photos", we have been providing restored photographs to customers who enjoy and appreciate our area's historic past and vintage photography. We will continue to do so under our new business name "Pastimes Photography".
Where the Photos Come From
These photographs have
come from the Amador
County Archives, local families and the Library of Congress.
Each one has been carefully
restored to reflect its original condition or to improve
upon it. It is an
ever-growing collection of images from our area's past.
Usually these photographs are in varying states
of poor condition and in need of considerable enhancing. We take a great deal of
pride in the restoration work of these vintage photos.

About Our Prints
All images are printed on archival-quality Canon photo paper using
only Canon Inks. Print longevity rivals that of a
traditional darkroom-processed photograph.
Each photograph is uniquely matted, framed and labeled with its
subject and circa date.
They make a wonderful addition to any home or business as "vintage
art for modern walls".
These prints are on display and available for sale at Jackson
True Value.
If you see a photo you want that is not on display, custom matting
and framing is available at no extra charge. Please allow up to 2
weeks for some frame styles.
